What is the purpose of a renal doppler scan?

This ultrasound concentrates on the blood flow from your kidneys. this scan is performed to watch the narrowing of the renal arteries, which can be the reason for high BP or kidney dysfunction.

Not at all! The test is completely painless and non-invasive. The technician will move a tool (transducer) over the skin of the area being tested with some gel applied.

Depending on which area is being examined, typically it takes somewhere around 35 to 50 minutes.

Mostly, the technician will send the images to your radiologist or doctor or a for interpretation.

You will get your reports within a couple of days.
